Light Design is when there is only one room that needs an updated look. Our designers will choose all finishes for the redesigned space. Measurements will be taken in the space and a new design will be created.  If, for instance, you need us to show an open concept from a space that is currently two rooms, it would be considered two spaces to be redesigned, and the cost will increase. Of course, in the end, the point is to get the house sold, and to do that, potential buyers need to Picture It Renovated!

eDesign is for clients who can be local or out of our area. You would need to take measurements of the room and photos of all 4 walls. (You will receive instructions on what and how to measure the space, as well as instructions on how to photograph the space.) This is also for one room/space. Your final product will be an emailed jpg and pdf of the rendering. 

If your reason for requesting a rendering is for pre-renovation concept and you don't have a specific idea for finishes for your outdated space, your designer will choose the new layout and finishes, based on the dimensions we receive (via email) or measure (locally in Southern California). This is the least expensive option. We will need to take photos of the space you want to have redesigned, then get specific things you want (e. g. no tub, just a shower), and create the new design. If you do not live in Southern California, we can still provide this service as an e-Design. But you will need to take measurements and photos, for which we'll provide instructions. 

This option is primarily for homeowners who are seeking a pre-renovation design for their outdated space or challenging floorplan and have specific ideas for their finishes and design.  If you're located in the Southern California, one of our designers will take measurements and photos of the space and will then have you fill out a form to let us know specifics about your style, colors and must haves. We will also ask you to provide at least 3 photos of rooms you've seen on the internet which help us understand the "look" you're going for. 

If you do not live in Southern California, we can still provide this service as an eDesign. But you will need to take measurements and photos, for which we'll provide instructions. This involves a LOT of communication with your designer. The price is still the same as if you were requesting this option locally.

Your rendering is for concept design only. Though the measurements we take are to scale and accurate for the design concept, when you actually begin your renovation, your General Contractor will be able to tell you, for instance, if a wall is load bearing (requiring a structural beam). You may still want you to hire a local Interior Designer to provide more details during the renovation. Remember, this design service is specifically for you to Picture It Renovated! You will always need to comply with local codes in your area and perform due diligence for the physical design that we've created for you. You will receive a floor plan with dimensions of cabinets and appliances we used in your design so that your General Contractor can plan accordingly. And you own the design! 

For Light Design option:

• Email us your specifics needs, you will receive an estimate
• If you agree to the timeline and fees, you will receive an invoice
• After invoice is paid, measurements and photos are taken
• Dimensions are entered into our software
• Design begins
• Upon completion of design, finished product is created for display
• Rendering is delivered via email

Timeline:

• Measuring and photography - 1 day
• Dimensions entered into software - 1 day
• Designing space(s) - 3-4 days
• You will receive your renderings on or about the 6th day (assuming you have continued communication with your designer, answering all questions regarding style, measurements and design).

For Specific Design with Intricate Details option:

• Request the order through our online form, choosing specific options you desire
• We will send you an estimate invoice showing the number of hours estimated to complete the design, our fees and any other specifics. If you decide you want the design, you'll receive an email to pay the invoice. Once you pay, we'll get started.

• For SoCal residents, we make an appointment to come measure your space and take photos. For e-design clients (out of the area) we will send you a pdf with specific instructions on how to measure your space and what view we need in photos you take of the space

• We ask that you go on sites such as Houzz.com, Instagram or Pinterest and find at least 3 photos you like of the type of space you would like us to redesign. Your choices of photos will give us an idea of your style.

• We enter the dimensions into the software

• Design begins

• There will be several communication emails that you will need to respond to in a timely manner so that we can continue your design process. Lack of communication will slow down the design process.

• You can make 3 changes during or after the design is complete (But not after  production begins on the finished rendering). 

Timeline:

• Measuring and photography - 1 day (locally) once appointment is made. For e-design clients, when you complete the measurements and photography is up to you. 

• Your designer will then take a look at your online style photos - 1 day
• Dimensions entered into software - 1 day
• Designing process begins (10-15 days because of communication required during the design process)
• Once you  have  signed off on the design, we begin the finished rendering process - 1-2 days
• Rendering is delivered via email
